In this section it is possible to enable the emergency mode that provides a service continuity when the database is not reachable.

  • Direct printing: if checked, direct printing during the emergency mode is enabled.

  • Direct printing folder: the folder where direct printing jobs are stored. To verify the path, press the Check button. If the folder does not exist, the field becomes red.

  • Embedded: if checked, alternative endpoints are enabled and the Genius Server answer to the client during the emergency mode.

  • Embedded folder: the folder where printing files are temporary stored during the emergency mode. To verify the path, press the Check button. If the folder does not exist, the field becomes red.

Hint

Do not forget to click on Save to save the changes. When everything in the config tool is configured, the Genius Server needs to be restarted.
