BPM (Configuration Tool)

BPM (Business Process Management) is the core part of the Genius platform. With this functionality, business processes can be managed, executed or monitored.

Base

  • Zone name: the zone name where all processes executed on the node where the BPM is allocated are saved (cluster installations). By default the zone name is Default.

  • Execution pool size: the number of threads involved in the execution of BPM processes.

Binary

  • Binary base folder path: the folder path which contains BPM processes binary data. Local or remote file system paths are allowed. To check the path, press the Check button, if the folder does not exist, the field becomes red.

  • BPM temp folder path: the folder path which contains temporary files. Local or remote file system paths are allowed. To check the path, press the Check button, if the folder does not exist, the field becomes red.

[Advanced] Advanced

  • Watchdog scheduler interval: the number of milliseconds after which the watchdog checks the BPM istances that are in execution. Once an istance ends its execution, the watchdog triggers the next node.

  • Multitenancy security mode: this mode disables potentially dangerous nodes (script, command line, reports).

Hint

Do not forget to click on Save to save the changes. When everything in the config tool is configured, the Genius Server needs to be restarted.
