[Advanced] Crypting User and Group¶

Most settings are found on the Genius Conf page for the corresponding tenant.

Base¶

Thread history pool size: the size of the thread pool for the history.
Encryption type: the encryption type used. Possible values are AES128_CBC and AES256_GCM.

Hint

Starting with Genius Server version 3.10.0 Genius Server supports AES256_GCM file encryption. Set the encryption type to AES256_GCM to activate this feature. File encryption in general can be activated on a "by function" level in the web configuration.

Do not forget to click on Save to save the changes. When everything in the config tool is configured, the Genius Server needs to be restarted.
