ESP Server

The Genius ESP (Enterprise Service Provider) shares card- and PIN-codes among two or more Genius Server Clusters.

Modules

  • Auth Card: if checked, the card is shared with the multiple Genius Server installations.

  • Auth PIN: if checked, the PIN is shared with the multiple Genius Server installations.

  • Pull Printing: if checked, pull printing is enabled at the multiple Genius Server installations.

Configuration

  • Genius ESP address: the IP address where the Genius ESP is installed.

  • Async port: the asynchronous port of the Genius ESP.

  • Sync port: the synchronous port of the Genius ESP.

Security

  • Secret key: the password to establish a connection with the Genius ESP. To change the password, press the Change Password button and enter the new password twice.

[Advanced] Advanced

  • Cache directory: the path of the folder where cards and PINs are stored, when the Genius ESP is not reachable. To verify the path, press the Check button. If the folder does not exist, the field becomes red.

  • Max concurrent connections: the maximum number of connections that can be simultaneously established between the Genius ESP and the Genius Server installations.

Hint

Do not forget to click on Save to save the changes. When everything in the config tool is configured, the Genius Server needs to be restarted.
