[Advanced] Notification (Conf)

Notifications are special messages which are sent by Genius Server when an event occurs on folders or files that have been subscribed by a user. Notifications are shown in the Administrator Web Console (on the left side menu, click on Notifications).

Base

  • Send email enabled: if checked, an email is sent to the subscribers as soon as a new notification occurs. All notifications are visible from the Administrator Web Console (on the left side menu, click on Notifications).

Clean up

  • Default notification lifetime: time (in days) before a notification expires.

  • Notification cleanup execution cron: a scheduling time expression for the notification cleanup. To modify its cron expression, press the Edit button, enter the expression and then press Save, for further details, refer to the Cron Trigger Tutorial (Quartz Cron) section.

To save changes made, press the Save Changes button and then Back.
