Server in Cloud

Server in cloud is a good solution to reduce costs and centralise the printing infrastructure of enterprise companies. A cloud environment can be built on an IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service) such as Google Cloud, Amazon EC2, Azure, Fujitsu K5 or other Public, Private, and Hybrid Clouds provider (OpenStack technology for example). The Genius Cloud solution can be installed also on classical Service Providers that remotely provide physical or virtualised servers to the end customers. The perfect choice for small and medium-sized businesses and/or dealers who want to offer a secure network printing solution without installing components or servers on customers’ buildings.

To establish this environment, the Genius Relay is needed and a specific configuration should be set (for further details refer to Cluster and to Genius Relay).

Note

The architecture provides an unidirectional communication, from MFPs to server. For this reason, the remote monitoring of assets and the accounting are disabled.
