Monitoring (Conf)¶
Status¶
Monitoring status enabled: if checked, it enables the monitoring of device status (refer to the Devices section in the Administrator Web Console).
Status watchdog cron [Advanced]: a scheduling time expression to execute the service. To modify its cron expression, press the Edit button, enter the expression and then press Save. For further details, refer to Cron Trigger Tutorial (Quartz Cron) section.
Monitoring status keeps days per device [Advanced]: number of days during which the database keeps the status history of the device.
Delete old counter snapshot monitoring events cron [Advanced]: a cron expression to delete old monitoring logs for status.
Supply Items¶
Supply item enabled: if checked, it enables the monitoring for supply items.
Supply item watchdog cron [Advanced]: the scheduling time expression to execute the monitoring service. To modify its cron expression, press the Edit button, enter the expression and then press Save. For further details, refer to Cron Trigger Tutorial (Quartz Cron) section.
Supply item forecast: if checked, it enables monitoring for supply items forecast.
Forecast execution cron [Advanced]: the cron expression for forecasts.
Monitoring supply items keeps days per supply items [Advanced]: number of days during which the database keeps the status history of the device supply items.
Delete old counter snapshot monitoring events cron [Advanced]: a cron expression to delete old monitoring logs for supply items.
Retries: the number of retries if the monitoring failed.
Retry delay: the time to wait before making a new attempt.
Low level threshold alert mail subject: the template for the subject of a low level alert.
Low level threshold alert mail body: the template for the body of a low level alert.
Exhaust level threshold alert mail subject: the template for the subject of an exhaust level alert.
Exhaust level threshold alert mail body: the template for the body of an exhaust level alert.
Counter Snapshot¶
Counter snapshot enabled: if checked, it enables the service for reading device counters.
Execution cron [Advanced]: a scheduling time expression to execute the service. To modify its cron expression, press the Edit button, enter the expression and then press Save. For further details, refer to Cron Trigger Tutorial (Quartz Cron) section.

Monitoring Messages¶
Enable: if checked, it enables the message monitoring.
Message poll watchdog cron [Advanced]: the scheduling time expression to execute the service. To modify its cron expression, press the Edit button, enter the expression and then press Save. For further details, refer to Cron Trigger Tutorial (Quartz Cron) (Quartz cron) section.
Message reopen threshold [Advanced]: threshold for creating a new ticket instead of reopening the closed ticket.
SNMP message encoding [Advanced]: the encoding for SNMP messages.
Message poll trap keeps days messages per device [Advanced]: number of days during which the database keeps the status history of the poll trap of the device.
Retries: the number of retries if the monitoring failed.
Retry delay: the time to wait before making a new attempt.
Auto Detection¶
Auto detection for wrong devices: if checked, the autodetection of devices with wrong serial and/or vendor number is enabled.
Deactivation for wrong devices [Advanced]: if checked, the autodeactivation of devices with wrong serial and/or vendor number is enabled.
To save changes made, press the Save button and then Back.
