Event Protocol (Conf)

Using the Event Protocol, users can export the system logs. Before the activation, remove the old logs.

Note

Logs give information about the process execution and are required for checking errors, in case of a failure.

Event Protocol

  • Enable: if checked, it enable the Event Protocol.

  • Remove old logs: if checked, it enables the deletion of obsolete log files.

  • Remove old logs cron: the scheduling time expression to remove the old logs.

  • Old logs maximum age: the time to live for a stored log file.

  • Do not repeat delay seconds: period of time during which duplicate log messages sent during delay threshold are ignored.

Event Protocol Notification

In this section, you can configure that the administration receives e-mail notifications when log files are tracked.

  • Enable email notification: if checked, the mail notification service is enabled.

  • Level threshold notification: the level for logging:

    1. ERROR: critical errors are tracked.

    2. WARN: warning messages and errors are tracked.

    3. INFO: information messages during the process execution, warning notifications and errors are tracked.

  • Email notification: email recipient (e.g. Administrator email).

  • Subject template notification: email subject templates.

  • Body template notification: email body templates.

  • Language notification: language for notification. It can be English, German or Italian.

Anonymization

  • Username anonymization enabled: if this setting is activated, usernames are anonymized in log files.

To save changes made, press the Save button and then Back.
