Import of a BPM process

Requirements #

Have a working Genius Server Environment and a BPM definition either created the necessary file yourself or received it from us

Objective #

New features for customers can be created as a means of individualized form of customization with Genius BPM.
In most cases, you will receive a corresponding file from us that must be implemented in the customer’s existing installation.

Solution #

• Login to Genius Server Admin Webinterface with administrational user
• Go to Admin/BPM/Editor
• Open Definition/Import from the top menu
• select the definition XML file fro the upload button menu and press import
• Select Name, Displayname, View Type and Classefier (in most cases simply “default”)
• Check if any other adjustments are needed on the process on your environment and press Definition/Save from the top menu

Here, we show you how to import any BPM process into an existing Genius Server installation. You have either created the necessary file yourself or received it from us.
