Objective #

Enable HTTPS for Genius Server to allow connections from all sorts of clients (Embedded Clients, Web-Clients, PC-Clients, Admin we, GWEB, …)

Solution #

Enable HTTPS in Genius Server Configuration

Example #

• right click Genius CDDS Server Tools and run it as administrator
• access configuration and switch to advanced mode
• access Web section
• Check the HTTP over SSL checkbox
• Save settings
• Double check if certificate configuration has already been performed successfully
  
• Restart Genius Server service
• After a short waiting time, try to access http://<FQDN of Genius Server>:8443
